Orcan Intelligence are looking for an experienced UX Designer to join our customers team to implement a new Claims platform. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates their ability to design intuitive and engaging user experiences for web applications in the Financial Services Industry and effectively collaborate with business users and front-end developers to drive the solution.

Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, user experience, and interaction design.
– Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to inform design decisions.
– Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
– Conceptualise ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
– Present deliverables and iteratively enhance throughout the project.
– Collect and evaluate user requirements with the help of product owner and solution owner.
– Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
– Assist with visual design stages as needed, ensuring alignment with in-house design systems

Requirements:
– 5+ years of proven experience as a UX Designer with a strong portfolio of work.
– Proficiency in Figma
– Experience working in the Insurance sector and preferably in claims
– Excellent user experience design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
– Ability to present designs and market solutions to various stakeholders.
– Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
– Up-to-date with the latest UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
